Senior Session - Josh Jacobson

I usually feel that the browns, grays and just general muddiness of late March is better suited for staying inside and watching basketball (which I also did a fair amount of). But then God just gives you really, really good light like He did today for my time with Josh.

I am also so thankful that I have such a place to photograph people. The location makes these folks really look good too!

Here are some of the stills.

NDSU vs Kansas

I played photographer for about 2 minutes during a timeout. The rest of the time I was the proud HS Coach of the game's star, Ben Woodside. It was a great run for the Bison and they gave the Jayhawks all they could handle. Woody again proved to the nation that he is one of the best. Way to go, buddy.

Just a little sample of the "homecourt advantage" the Bison had!

LIz+Brayton

Just had a great "spring" day with Brayton and Liz for their wedding. It was the breakthrough of some nice weather (finally) here in MN. It was in the 50's actually!!

The wedding was in New Market, MN at St. Nicolas' Catholic Church. A beautiful, classic, huge church that provided some great visuals.

The reception was at one of my favorite spots, in one of my favorite towns...Northfield, MN. The reception was at The Grand. A restored 120 year old theater.

We had a fabulous day and got some great photos. Check them out here on the blog or on the Matt Addington Facebook Page as well!!

MN Hockey Expo

Got hooked up with a guy named Brian McKinney who owns and runs a hockey development center in Lakeville, MN. Brian in turn has developed a series of interactive skills devices called FantasticSports that the NHL has now become a partner in. These skills contests are all linked online via a scan card where folks can compare their skills contests with those of others at NHL arenas around the country. It's really pretty cool stuff.

My partner Kurt and I are going to help Brian out with some of his promotional and marketing visuals along the way. My capturing images here was one of the first steps in what we hope is a great partnership!
